About Deaf Ministry Fellowship
Deaf Ministry Fellowship-Metro Washington DC Area is dedicated to uniting non-ASL speaking churches and spirit-filled ministers with the Deaf community. We offer educational programs, cultural exchanges, and biblically-themed events to inspire greater awareness and participation among presbytery members.
Our mission is to foster a spirit of inclusivity and spiritual growth, encouraging ASL interpreters and deaf believers to work together with congregations yet to experience the beauty of Deaf culture. Through fellowship, shared learning, and outreach, we strive to build a more unified faith community.

We provide cultural training, biblical events, collaborative workshops, and ASL-interpreter connections for churches seeking to engage more deeply with the Deaf community.
Deaf Culture Exchange Workshops
Interactive sessions introducing non-ASL ministers to Deaf culture, customs, and spiritual perspectives, fostering deeper understanding and connection.
Biblically-Themed Deaf Events
Organizing spiritual renewal events, such as worship services and Bible studies, accessible to the Deaf community with full ASL support.
ASL Interpreter Networking
Facilitating interaction between ASL interpreters of like faith and churches or presbytery members new to Deaf ministry outreach.
